Hello, my name is Susan Dyer-DeBoer and I own and operate FeatherDance Equine Entertainment (and the fabulous BlackPearl Friesian Dance Troupe!) along with my husband and partner, Joel DeBoer.  Thank you for visiting our site!

We are located in Washington State, in the very south-western portion, just outside of Portland, OR. We live here with our two Friesian stallions, our two Andalusian stallions, our baroque spotted stallion, Joel’s Andalusian gelding and a handful of beauties that are currently offered for sale.

Throughout the years, I have been a breeder, an owner, a fellow enthusiast, a trainer, a writer, a photographer, an artist...like many of you, these horses inspire me, and bring out the desire to capture and preserve their intense spiritual presence.

For me, I’ve found that exhibitions for the public are the most rewarding, along with writing about my experiences and sharing those stories with others.

This site is here these days mainly to share photos, and let you all know when our next clinics or performances will be.  Sometimes we have horses to sell, and if you at all enjoy our performances, our clinics, our videos and our photos, please share our site or our facebook pages with others!  Proceeds from the sale of our horses is our main source of income...most of our performances are self funded.

As for our horses, we have loved so many.  But the stallions are the keepers of our hearts.  On behalf of Marco, Vogue, Alejandro, Lebrijano, Paparazzi and Amante thank you!  They have given so much of themselves, shown so much heart through the years, and know just what their job is in touching the hearts of their fans.  It still amazes me to see them puff up and prepare to put on a show with the first sound of applause.  They truly love you all.
